Shri. Shripad S. Gangavati

Shri S.S. Gangavati is a Patron member of DSTA and a Life member of Sugar Technologist’s Association (STAI) and is now Vice President (Technical) of DSTA since 2012. 

Shri. Gangavati started his career with Walchandnagar Industries Ltd. Pune in 1967 as Chief of Engineering ending with Head of Strategic Planning and Market Research, and now works as an Advisor to Walchandnagar Industries Ltd. As the Head of International Division, he has travelled more than 50 countries – Europe, USA, South America, Carebbian, South East Asia, Far East. He was posted for extended periods in Indonesia, Tanzania, Malaysia, Kenya, Nigeria, etc.

He has published and presented a total of 17 technical at nationaland international forums and has been awarded a patent for 4 cases of R&D work.

He is Patron member of DSTA and Life member of Sugar Technologist’s Association (STAI), South India Sugar Technologists Association of India (SISTA), and Bombay Management Association. He has also served as former Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Sugar Machinery Division and Member of International Sugar Technologists Association.

Shri. Gangavati is the recipient of the prestigious 'Life Time Achievement Award' of STAI. He has also received Life Time Achievement Award of DSTA in 2016.

Shri. Mansinhbhai K. Patel

Mansinhbhai Kalyanjibhai Patel is born on 2nd June 1954. He is ex-M.P. and ex-Speaker of Gujarat Assembly. Since last 22 years he is serving for co-operative sector. He is Chairman of Gujarat State Federation of Co-op. Sugar Factories Ltd. w.e.f. 2001, Chairman of Surat District Co-op. Milk Producers’ Union Ltd., (SUMUL) w.e.f. 6.3.13 and Chairman of Shree Mahuva Pradesh SKUM Ltd., Mahuva, Dist: Surat from 1993.

He is a member of NFCSF, NCUI, NHEC, Gujarat State Control Bazar Union, Ahmedabad, and many more institutes. In order to stimulate and increase income of Adivasis and economically backward farmers, a Pilot project is being undertaken with the joint collaboration with government.
